More work on the board tracker

Back in the shop again today. Time to make that lower downtube.



A line was drawn along the top to keep the pipe straight and the tick marks about every 1/4 inch.

The first pass

Second pass. Getting closer.

3rd pass plus the upper part bent to match up to the neck.

I then had this gaping hole that had to be filled from the old downtube.

Found a piece of pipe similar in diameter and cut out a circle about the size of a nickle.

Fits like a glove.

All welded in. Add some paint and no one will ever know. More to come later.
